About Me
Julia N. Reimers
Economist
My name is Julia N. Reimers. I studied political economics in Heidelberg and Trier with an emphasis on International Development, Environmental Economics and International Trade. Before I decided working independently in August 2015, I worked as program designer for international development projects in the context of rural economic development and agricultural policy.
Today I work in particular on issues of agricultural policy as well as rural economic development and sustainable supply chains. Processes that I oversee as a consultant in this context include: the conception of new and evaluation of ongoing development projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America, the participation or facilitation, organisation and / or implementation of international events as well as technical and strategic advice on projects. I am expanding my professional competence as part of my PhD studies in Agricultural and Food Economics at the University of Hohenheim, at the Institute for Agricultural Policy and Agricultural Market Studies and as part of the Doctoral Certificate Program in Agricultural Economics.
I also advise organizations and teams in the field of systemic and organizational development. For this purpose, both my training as a Certified ScrumMaster® at SCRUM ALLIANCE as well as my further education in systemic organizational development and change management at the systemic training institute for specialists and executives isb GmbH in Wiesloch help me.
